The series features GT3 machinery, elite multi-driver rosters, and some of the best circuits in the world.

What is the GT Sprint Championship?

The IRO GT Sprint Championship (GTSC) is an 8-round global series featuring:

  • GT3-class cars under Balance of Performance (BoP)

  • Two competitive race splits

  • Team-based endurance-format sprint events

  • A calendar built around legendary circuits

The season includes major venues such as:

  • Monza

  • Road Atlanta

  • Le Mans (Circuit de la Sarthe)

Race Format & Broadcast Schedule

Each round of GTSC is run as a 3-hour endurance race, divided into:

  • 2 splits per race day

  • Each stint lasting 90 minutes

Race day schedule highlights include:

  • Split 1 Qualifying: 16:00 GMT

  • Split 2 Qualifying: 19:40 GMT

  • Podium Interviews after each split

That means every event is packed with strategy, teamwork, and high-pressure execution — and we’ll be covering it live.

Teams, Drivers, and Competition

GTSC is built around full team operations:

  • Minimum 3 drivers

  • Maximum 5 drivers per team

Only 14 teams per split are accepted, meaning the grid is stacked from top to bottom with proven talent.
