Installation Guide

McNaughty.gg Telemetry connects your Gran Turismo 7 telemetry to the NRL platform. The app is available for Windows and macOS directly through your McNaughty.gg account.

Go to My Profile
Always download McNaughty.gg Telemetry from My Profile. Downloads are available to logged-in McNaughty.gg users and are delivered through our protected download system. You do not need to download the application from a third-party website.
Why does Windows or macOS show a security warning?
McNaughty.gg Telemetry is currently distributed without a commercial Windows code-signing certificate or Apple Developer ID/notarization. Because of this, your operating system may warn you the first time you install or open the app. This is expected for the current release.

Windows Installation

Windows 10 or newer
  1. Log in to McNaughty.gg and open My Profile.
  2. Find Download McNaughty.gg Telemetry and select Download for Windows.
  3. Open the downloaded McNaughty.gg Telemetry installer.
  4. If Windows SmartScreen displays “Windows protected your PC”, select More info.
  5. Confirm that you downloaded the installer directly from your McNaughty.gg My Profile page, then select Run anyway.
  6. Complete the installation and launch McNaughty.gg Telemetry.
You do not need to disable Windows SmartScreen. Use the one-time More info → Run anyway option for the McNaughty.gg Telemetry installer you downloaded from My Profile.

macOS Installation

Universal app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs
  1. Log in to McNaughty.gg and open My Profile.
  2. Find Download McNaughty.gg Telemetry and select Download for macOS.
  3. Open the downloaded DMG and install McNaughty.gg Telemetry in your Applications folder.
  4. Attempt to open McNaughty.gg Telemetry. macOS may prevent the first launch because the current app is not notarized with Apple.
  5. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security. Scroll to the Security section and locate the message indicating that McNaughty.gg Telemetry was blocked.
  6. Select Open Anyway, confirm the prompt, and then open McNaughty.gg Telemetry again.
You do not need to disable Gatekeeper. Approve McNaughty.gg Telemetry individually through Privacy & Security. Do not change your Mac's system-wide security settings.

First Launch

Once McNaughty.gg Telemetry opens, sign in using your McNaughty.gg account. Follow the setup prompts to connect the app to your PlayStation and complete the initial configuration.

After setup is complete, the app can connect your Gran Turismo 7 telemetry session to the NRL telemetry platform whenever you are participating in an authorized session.

Having Trouble?

If the app will not install, will not open, or you receive an error after signing in, contact NRL staff through the NRL Discord and include the operating system you are using and the error message you received.
